Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that comes with a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another notable feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop's roller has many other smart features, including a dock that connects to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without you needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control room cleaning modes and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's among the many combo robot vacuums with mops that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your living space. Additionally the detection of objects can be difficult to determine It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. The battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also boasts an innovative mopping system which utilizes a continuous roller doused with water to pull dirt and place it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It provides clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuums/mowers available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, and even customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.
The docking station functions as an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the money to buy the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a good choice. robot vacuum hoover comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can move between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery quicker than other models we've tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces efficiently. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of any object it comes across (i.e., chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.
It's great at vacuuming, but not as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
